Tisha: Story of a Young Teacher
I read it for class but halfway through it, I gave up trying to read it analytically and just read it for entertainment. I couldn't really say whether the attitude toward the Indians in the book bordered on condescending or whether the focus was on education - I know that I enjoyed the oscillations made by the plot as it skied to an end.
